Wolf Sanctuary of PA raises money with music and art event [photos] | Entertainment

It’s not every day you can enjoy live music and shop for art in the company of wolves.

An event at the Wolf Sanctuary of PA in Elizabeth Township offered just that. At Saturday’s Music and Art With the Wolves fundraiser, supporters shopped from art and crafts vendors, listened to live music and patronized local food trucks.

Mechanicsburg singer-songwriter Kevin Neidig performed, and photographer Chuck Rineer signed copies of his book “Wolf Sanctuary,” which includes images of the wolves who live at the sanctuary.

Guests also were invited to take self-guided wolf tours on site and learn more about the organization through educational games and activities.

The Wolf Sanctuary of PA is home to more than 50 gray wolves and wolf-dogs. The sanctuary has more than 80 acres of woodland.

Proceeds from Saturday’s event benefited the organization and its wolves.
